Gas Works Park is a 19 acre park close to downtown on the north side of Lake Union.
Some remains of the former Seattle City Gas Light Company gas plant which converted carbon materials into usable gases such as carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen, are preserved at the park.
