This hike can be started outside of Nagarkot with a sunrise view of the Lang Tang Himalayas. On clear mornings farther out along the trail there are epic views of the mountains towering over Nagarkot.

The hike is downhill all the way and the valley is covered with colorful rice and potato terraces. The whole area is very scenic and photogenic.

The main road can be reached in the early afternoon and buses to Kathmandu stop at Map Location: 27.631180, 85.518656 . In Kathmandu, they stop at the Ratna Park Bus Station (Map Location: 27.705582, 85.314532 ) which is walking distance to Thamel.

This is a 'Teahouse Trek' which means that there are plenty of hotels and restaurants available so camping and cooking are not required.
