This trail extends the Scorrybreac Circuit trail up to the highest point of the great escarpment running high above the coast near Portree called Sithean Bhealaich Chumhaing. The views here are as spectacular as the wind is strong. It's an unworldly experience experiencing the epic views as the wind tries to blow you off of the cliff and into the freezing waters below.
Note that this trail crosses farmland and uses one private driveway. This is allowed according to the Land Reform Act of 2003 which gives everyone rights of access over land and inland water throughout Scotland, as long as they behave responsibly. This is known locally as 'freedom to roam'.
