There is a lot of activity in the area with the farmers working in the rice fields and the fishermen working in their outrigger canoes on the lake.
The loop takes you through scenic rice paddies and along the edge of the lake. From the lake to Tissa, it goes through a little neighborhood full of friendly people. It also passes the entrance to the massive, white Tissamaharama Stupa.
