This is a nice trail that goes to the Crystal Lakes with an option to branch off and go to Crystal Peak. From the parking lot, the trail starts with switchbacks for most of the way to the lake. The clear, blue Upper Crystal Lake is surrounded by small peaks and is very scenic. There is a trail around the lake and another trail that goes over the ridge to Sheep Lake and down to a different parking area.
